Since its founding in 2011, the Brazilian Environmental Education Fund – FunBEA has been formed by Researchers, University Professors, Ministries of Environment and Education, State, Municipalities, companies and several collectives, especially the Rede Universitária de Programas de Educação Ambiental (University Network of Environmental Education Programs – RUPEA). Some of the founders are still part of the Council to this day.
